Development Background

Current state of crosswalk accidents In Korea, less advanced accidents have been occurring due to lack of safety awareness and traffic safety facilities despite of the rapid increase in automobiles, and it has become a serious social problem. In particular, the rate of children's traffic accident appears much higher than the one in developed countries, and children in Korea are exposed to a very dangerous pedestrian environment, so that it requires urgent safety measures.

School zone is still dangerous!

Even though the roads around kindergartens and elementary schools are designated as a school zone (Child Protection Zone) and the automobile traffic is restricted and safety facilities are installed in those areas, traffic accidents in school zone (Child Protection Zone) has been increasing every year, so more effective measures are needed.
